Marketing Director of Consumer (Remote) at charity: water

Director leads consumer fundraising strategy, paid media campaigns, and recurring donor growth initiatives across acquisition, retention, and lifecycle management.

Lead Remote Posted about 16 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Main Areas of Focus: Subscription/recurring giving growth · Donor acquisition, retention & lifecycle · Paid media leadership

Location: Remote, Nashville, TN preferred · Monthly travel to Nashville required

Eligibility: charity: water hires from all 50 states. At this time, we are only considering candidates eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

HIGHLIGHT

As Director of Consumer, you will own charity: water’s most important revenue mandate: growing the Spring, our recurring giving community and the financial engine that sustains the mission. You’ll lead a team responsible for every stage of the consumer donor journey, from first gift to long-term commitment, building the systems, programs, and channels that bring new donors in and deepen their connection over time. Reporting directly to the VP of Global Marketing & Partnerships, you will own a full-funnel fundraising strategy spanning paid acquisition, lifecycle retention, and campaign management; directing agency and contractor partners on paid media while managing two direct reports. This is a role for someone who thinks in lifetime value, builds in systems, leads with data, and is energized by the idea that more Spring donors means more clean water for communities in need.

JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Consumer will  own charity: water’s $25M+ consumer revenue target. Your north star is Spring: the number of recurring donors enrolled, how much they give, how long they stay, and how many move deeper into their giving over time.

You set the strategy, hold the brief, and own the outcomes: campaigns drive 1x giving, lifecycle keeps donors and moves them deeper and paid media finds the next audience. Your job is to architect that engine and hold all of it accountable to Spring growth.

Paid media is central to this role. You are fluent in performance marketing — strategy, channel mix, audience targeting, creative testing, budget management and experienced directing agency partners to execute against your vision. Long-term, you’re building toward an AI-optimized model that reduces cost and agency dependence. You understand where that trajectory leads and are actively steering toward it.

YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Spring Revenue & Donor Growth

  • Owning charity: water’s Spring recurring revenue target — acquisition, retention, upgrade, and LTV — as the primary measure of team success

  • Building and managing the full-funnel consumer donor journey from first gift through multi-year commitment. Actively looking at how to accelerate a donor’s depth of giving and move consumer donors into Mid & Major portfolios

  • Designing and optimizing the 1x-to-Spring conversion pathway, evaluating one-time giving programs primarily through a recurring conversion lens

  • Partnering with the VP and Revenue Resources team to define ‘major donor ready’ signals and build the handoff infrastructure that captures them

Paid Media & Agency Leadership

  • Owning paid acquisition strategy across all channels (paid social, paid search, TV/CTV, display, direct mail); setting the brief, directing agency and contractor partners, and holding them accountable to performance

  • Managing a multi-channel paid media budget with rigor — forecasting, tracking, and reporting on CAC, CPA, ROAS, and revenue attribution

  • Building toward an AI-optimized media operating model that replaces long-term agency dependence,  staying current on how AI is reshaping paid acquisition and accelerating its integration it into how the team operates

Team Leadership & Channel Management

  • Managing and developing two direct reports: Campaign Senior Manager and Lifecycle Senior Associate, with clear performance expectations and regular developmental feedback

  • Building the feedback loops between paid media, lifecycle, and campaign functions that compound learning across every activation

  • Owning channel performance metrics: CPA, ROAS, retention rate, upgrade rate, Spring conversion from 1x, and LTV

  • Leading the Consumer team’s experimentation and testing infrastructure; frameworks that generate learning across creative, audience, and channel, not one-off tests

Systems & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partnering with Growth Product to improve Spring conversion rates, ARPU, and retention through landing page and onboarding experimentation

  • Partnering with Data & Analytics to establish Spring donor performance reporting as a single source of truth across acquisition, retention, upgrade, and LTV

  • Collaborating with Corporate Partnerships on shared audience strategy; partnership-driven awareness feeds paid retargeting poolsWorking with Revenue Resources on the upgrade pathways that move Spring donors toward major giving

  • Integrating AI tools into Consumer team workflows; creative optimization, audience targeting, performance monitoring

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 8-10 years in consumer marketing or fundraising with direct ownership of revenue targets, including significant time in a growth or performance marketing capacity

  • Hands-on paid media experience, you have personally directed paid acquisition strategy across digital channels (Meta, Google, paid social) and understand media planning, audience targeting, creative testing, and budget management at a meaningful scale. Agency direction experience required.

  • A commitment to integration & collaboration. You’re more eager to see the organization’s revenue grow then just Consumer. You work well with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to deliver exceptional experiences and strong experimental designs.

  • Extensive experience with subscription or monthly giving programs.  You have owned a recurring revenue product (subscription, membership, or monthly donor program) and have demonstrated results in acquisition, retention, and upgrade.

  • Full-funnel fluency: you’ve managed or closely directed paid acquisition, lifecycle communications, and campaign programs as an integrated system, not separate functions

  • Experience managing direct reports and agency or contractor relationships. You’ve developed people and held external partners accountable to performance

  • Strong analytical instincts. You are comfortable with CAC, LTV, retention cohort analysis, and the metrics that distinguish a healthy recurring revenue program from one quietly eroding

  • Clear POV on how AI is changing paid media and marketing operations and a track record of leaning into new tools before they become standard

IT’S AN ADDED PLUS IF YOU HAVE

  • Experience in nonprofit fundraising or with mission-driven consumer audiences

  • Familiarity with direct mail as a channel; audience segmentation, cadence strategy, creative testing

  • Experience building or scaling a recurring giving or membership program from the ground up

YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL IF

You are Spring-obsessed. You think about donor lifetime value, recurring enrollment, and retention rate the way a SaaS operator thinks about MRR and churn. You know that a donor who stays is worth more than three who leave. The mission is the reason the number matters and you hold both.

You think in systems, not tactics. You don’t just run campaigns, you build the infrastructure that makes every campaign smarter than the last. Testing frameworks, performance feedback loops, cross-channel learning; these are how you create leverage from a lean team.

You lead people with clarity. Your team and agency partners know what they own, what success looks like, and how their work connects to the larger goal. You develop talent, resolve ambiguity early, and create an environment that attracts strong performers.

You are AI-forward, not AI-curious. You’ve already started building AI into how you work; creative testing, audience analysis, performance monitoring. You understand where media buying is going and are building toward it, not managing around it.

You take initiative.

You see something that needs improvement and you take action. You propose solutions to problems and research subjects that will help you do your job better. You’re proactive about making sure various departments have the information they need about your projects.

You have a team ethos.

You thrive in a creative, inventive, fast-paced start-up environment, with people who are passionate about their work and mission. You’re excited to work cross-functionally with other departments.

Project Management Engineering Manager, AI Engineering (Magnet-Griffeye) at Magnet Forensics

Manages and develops a 5-10 person ML engineering team building AI systems for digital forensics, handling hiring, coaching, career development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Lead Remote Posted about 16 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Who We Are; What We Do; Where We’re Going

Magnet Forensics is a global leader in the development of digital investigative software that acquires, analyzes, and shares evidence from computers, smartphones, tablets, and IoT-related devices. We are continually innovating so our customers can deploy advanced and effective tools to protect their companies, communities, and countries.

Serving thousands of customers globally, our solutions are playing a crucial role in modernizing digital investigations, helping investigators fight crime, protect assets, and guard national security.

With employees based around the world, Magnet Forensics has been expanding our global presence. As a part of Magnet Forensics, you can expect to make a difference in the world, no matter what role you play. You’ll be supported through learning and development, not to mention an incredible team with unbelievable talent and integrity.

If you think you would be the right person to join our team working towards this goal, we would love to hear from you!

Role Overview

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to build, develop, and partner with a growing team of 5-10 ML Engineers working on AI systems that power our digital forensics capabilities. You’ll be responsible for hiring, coaching, career development, and performance; raising the bar on AI/ML craft by shaping standards, developing engineers, and building a strong community of practice across the team.

Distributed across Canada and Sweden, our MLEs work in cross-functional groups alongside Software Engineers and SDETs, and are organized around missions like Search and Enrichment rather than by technical discipline. As part of the AI Engineering leadership team, you’ll work alongside peers to build cohesion across those groups, partner with Tech Leads to shape how we approach difficult technical problems, and collaborate with Product and UX to make sure the team is solving the right problems for our users.

From building AI that investigators can trust to turn months of case work into days, to figuring out what ‘good’ looks like when users are searching for a needle in a haystack they’ve never seen before, our team works on challenging and meaningful problems. If these are the kinds of problems that interest you, then you will feel at home on this team!

What You’ll Do

  • Drive operational excellence. Stay accountable for what the team ships, and continuously improve how we work by building frameworks for efficient, high-quality delivery. Protect team autonomy by bringing clarity and keeping decision making complexity low.

  • Guide technical execution. Stay close enough to the technical work to ask sharp questions, spot risks, and help the team weigh trade-offs. Partner with Tech Leads to ensure complex initiatives have the right direction, and that our systems are adaptable and aligned with long-term goals.

  • Coach and grow engineers on the team. Help them scope ambiguous projects, navigate tough technical trade-offs, and prepare for high-stakes conversations. Create opportunities for them to take ownership and expand their impact, and support them through clear, actionable feedback.

  • Foster a culture of experimentation. Create an environment where the team can safely share and test ideas, measure results, and learn quickly from each other and our data to keep pace in a rapidly evolving space.

  • Lead with context and collaboration. Work across Product, UX, and engineering leadership to align roadmap goals with team capacity and ensure the team is solving the right problems for our users.

  • Nurture a high-performing, distributed team. Evolve our processes and communication patterns to enhance our distributed collaboration while maintaining a high level of trust within the team. Leverage our time zone coverage in Canada (ET/MT) and Sweden (CET) as an advantage, not a constraint to overcome.

  • Drive thoughtful AI-assisted development practices. Figure out where AI development tools accelerate the team versus where they create risk, and raise our standards accordingly. Cut through the noise to determine what adds real value vs. what is only hype.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a leader who combines genuine passion for developing people with enough AI/ML depth to coach effectively, weigh in on technical trade-offs, and raise the bar on our practices. We care more about demonstrated impact and capabilities than whether you check every box.

  • 3+ years managing or leading teams of engineers, with a track record of building healthy teams, delivering results, and coaching people through growth (regardless of title);

  • Hands-on experience building applied AI/ML systems. Enough to understand what good looks like, evaluate technical judgment, and have credible conversations on technical topics with the team;

  • A genuine coaching mindset. You find satisfaction in other people’s growth, give direct and useful feedback, and have coached Senior and Staff-level engineers; people who don’t need hand-holding but benefit from thoughtful partnership;

  • Sound technical judgment. You can navigate complex decisions, weigh trade-offs, and help teams move toward adaptable, maintainable solutions, even when the right answer isn’t obvious;

  • Strong cross-functional instincts. You communicate clearly with engineers, PMs, UX, and leadership, and understand that your job is to make the whole system work, not just to deliver features;

  • Experience working effectively across distributed teams. You understand that “remote” and “distributed” are different things, and know how to build cohesion when people aren’t in the same room;

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and a perspective on how to effectively integrate them into engineering workflows and team practices;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience in high-stakes domains (security, healthcare, legal) where correctness matters;

  • Experience with AI/ML in constrained deployment models (on-prem, edge, air-gapped);

  • Experience building and operating scalable, distributed systems;

  • Familiarity with MLOps tooling (e.g., experiment tracking, model versioning, CI/CD for ML).

Compensation & Benefits

The Compensation range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. Please note that the actual compensation may vary depending on location and job-related factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. If you are applying for this role outside of the primary location and you are selected for an interview, the Talent Acquisition Partner can share more information with you.  If the compensation structure for the role includes an incentive component (i.e. most Sales roles) the range below represents total target compensation (TTC) (base salary + variable).

784,000 - 1,250,000 (SEK) a year

Salary range (min - max)

Position Type: New position

Magnet is proud to offer benefits such as:

- Generous time off policies

- Competitive compensation

- Volunteer opportunities

- Reward and recognition programs

- Employee committees & resource groups

- Healthcare and retirement benefits

Indicators of Success

We’re looking for someone who checks off most, but not all, of the boxes listed in “skills and experiences”.  It’s more important to us to find candidates who can display indicators of success through skills they have developed and experiences they have been a part of, than to find folks who have “been there, done that”.  We want to be part of your development journey, and we’ll learn as much from you as you learn from us.

How We Work

At Magnet Forensics, we take a hybrid-flexible approach to support your productivity and work-life balance. If you’re within a comfortable travel distance to one of our offices, you’ll occasionally join us in person. How often you’ll come in depends on your department and team needs, typically ranging from weekly to monthly. These in-person moments help us build stronger connections, spark new ideas, and celebrate our successes together. Most days, you can choose what works best for you, while staying in tune with your team’s goals.

We’re excited to welcome you to our team and look forward to achieving great things together - both in the office and wherever you work best!

The Most Important Thing

We’re looking for candidates that can provide examples of how they have demonstrated Magnet CODE in their previous experiences:

CARE– We care about each other and our mission to make a difference in the world.

OWN – We are accountable for our results – while never forgetting to act with integrity, empathy, and respect.

DEDICATE – We put our heart and soul into meeting the needs of our customers and helping them serve the people they protect.

EVOLVE – We are constantly innovating and exploring new ways to work together to make an impact with our work.

Here at Magnet Forensics, we are committed to continuous learning and are focused on building a diverse and inclusive workforce. This commitment will be reflected in our hiring processes and embedded in our values and how we treat one another. If you’re interested in this role, but do not meet all of the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to apply anyways.

Magnet Forensics is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetics or any other basis forbidden under federal, provincial, or local law. We are committed to providing an inclusive, accessible recruitment process and work environment. Accommodation is available to all applicants upon request throughout the hiring process. Please contact [email protected] should you require any accommodations.

All offers of employment at Magnet are contingent upon satisfactory completion of a background check. All background checks will be conducted in accordance with all applicable laws. Magnet will consider each position’s job duties, among other factors, in determining what constitutes satisfactory completion of the background check. Refusal to consent to a background check may be grounds for revoking an offer of employment.

Engineering Manager builds and leads a team of 5-10 ML engineers on AI systems for digital forensics, handling hiring, performance, career development, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • 3+ years managing or leading teams of engineers, with a track record of building healthy teams, delivering results, and coaching people through growth (regardless of title);

  • Hands-on experience building applied AI/ML systems. Enough to understand what good looks like, evaluate technical judgment, and have credible conversations on technical topics with the team;

  • A genuine coaching mindset. You find satisfaction in other people’s growth, give direct and useful feedback, and have coached Senior and Staff-level engineers; people who don’t need hand-holding but benefit from thoughtful partnership;

  • Sound technical judgment. You can navigate complex decisions, weigh trade-offs, and help teams move toward adaptable, maintainable solutions, even when the right answer isn’t obvious;

  • Strong cross-functional instincts. You communicate clearly with engineers, PMs, UX, and leadership, and understand that your job is to make the whole system work, not just to deliver features;

  • Experience working effectively across distributed teams. You understand that “remote” and “distributed” are different things, and know how to build cohesion when people aren’t in the same room;

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and a perspective on how to effectively integrate them into engineering workflows and team practices;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience in high-stakes domains (security, healthcare, legal) where correctness matters;

  • Experience with AI/ML in constrained deployment models (on-prem, edge, air-gapped);

  • Experience building and operating scalable, distributed systems;

Security Valon Tech: Staff Product Security Engineer - Customer Platform

Staff-level security engineer designs and implements security controls across product infrastructure, cloud systems, and customer-facing platforms for a regulated fintech company.

Lead Remote Posted about 18 hours ago We Work Remotely — Programming
What this role involves

Headquarters: Remote

About the Company

Valon is building the AI-native operating system for regulated finance, starting with mortgage servicing.

We're a Series C company backed by a16z, transforming industries that others have written off as too complex to innovate.

Rather than build on top of broken legacy systems, we took a different approach: we built and operate our own mortgage servicing business managing $110+ billion in loans. This wasn't the end goal, it was how we deeply understood the complexity needed to build software that actually works in regulated industries.

The results speak for themselves. We've transformed mortgage servicing from a 0% margin business into 60%+ margins while dramatically improving customer experience. Major enterprise contracts are now deploying across the industry.

ValonOS is our unified platform that makes every process structured and programmable and it is perfectly positioned for the AI era. When everything flows through one system with rich data, AI agents don't just automate tasks, they continuously improve entire operations. Mortgage servicing is just the beginning of our vision to transform regulated industries and beyond.

Security at Valon

Our customers entrust us with some of their most sensitive and personal financial information, and it is the ultimate mission of Valon’s Security team to ensure we have sound programs, processes, and automation in place to safeguard our customers’ data. The Security team protects the infrastructure and data for processing billions of dollars of mortgage loans.

In addition to protecting Valon’s internal systems, the Security team partners closely with Product and Engineering to design and deliver secure, scalable, and trustworthy capabilities for ValonOS. We work cross-functionally across all teams at Valon to enable security throughout the organization. We engage with external security auditors, pentesting firms, and partners to continuously evaluate Valon’s security posture.

Valon offices are located in New York City and San Francisco, but we fully support remote work!

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Staff Product Security Engineer - Customer Platform to join our growing team! As a key security member at Valon, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our organization's systems, cloud infrastructure, products, and data.

This role blends product security architecture and technical control implementation, incorporating security by design into ValonOS. You will be hands-on and help shape how security is designed, built, and scaled across our SaaS platform both in foundational infrastructure and in customer-facing security features.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve product security architecture and strategy for Valon’s multi-tenant SaaS platform

  • Architect and guide secure implementation of customer-facing security capabilities in conjunction with Engineering (e.g., authentication / authorization models, identity integration, access controls, audit and logging, encryption / key management)

  • Build and maintain security reference architectures and standardized secure design patterns for product teams

  • Lead threat modeling, security design and code reviews for new features, services, and major architectural changes

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Compliance, Legal, and other teams to identify and drive mitigation for product and data security risks

  • Support vulnerability triage, remediation strategy, and root cause analysis for product security issues

  • Support security compliance and regulatory needs (e.g., SOC 2, CCPA, NYDFS, FTC), including customer-facing security discussions and due diligence

  • Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures

  • Support operational activities including security advisory and consultative reviews, incident response, issue remediation, and other security processes

Ideal Background

  • Extensive experience in product security, application security, or security architecture roles, with ownership of security design for SaaS platforms including multi-tenancy and customer-facing security capabilities.

  • Strong background in cloud security and modern infrastructure, with hands-on experience securing cloud environments (GCP preferred).

  • Proven experience in SaaS IAM and tenant security (e.g., authentication/authorization, RBAC, SSO/SAML/OIDC, SCIM, MFA, audit logs).

  • Expertise in designing secure platform controls (e.g., APIs, service-to-service auth, encryption/KMS/CMEK, logging/monitoring)

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain security reference architectures.

  • Expert-level experience leading threat modeling and security design reviews including security-focused code reviews.

  • Applied knowledge with industry security and compliance frameworks (OWASP, NIST, CIS, SOC 2/ISO 27001 concepts)

  • Highly hands-on engineer with proven ability to operate autonomously, drive multiple complex cross-functional efforts, and influence independently.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Prior software engineering experience and/or coding ability (Python) is preferred.

  • Experience working in high-growth or startup environments is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years in progressive senior security engineering or architect level roles, with 3+ years leading security design for enterprise-grade cloud and SaaS platforms

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Technology or related field

  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSK, CCSP or similar)

  • Proven ability to design security reference architectures and implement customer platform security controls and technologies (IAM, API security, encryption/key management, logging/monitoring and others)

  • Hands-on experience with modern security technologies and tooling across cloud and application security

Benefits

  • Base Compensation Band: $190K - $260K. Base salary offered is determined by a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills

    • This Base Compensation pay range applies to our New York City located staff and may differ according to location.

  • Commuter benefits: We offer pre-tax deductions for public transportation, rideshare services, and parking expenses to make your commute more affordable and convenient

  • Play together: Quarterly budgets for team and company outings. Use it for team swag, cooking classes, or team dinners!

  • Generous time off: Flexible paid time off, sick days, and 11 company holidays

  • Baby bonding time!: 12 weeks off for both birthing and non-birthing parents - fully paid so you can focus your energy on your newest addition

Proof of work

The team

Payward has world-class engineering, products, infrastructure, and regulatory assets. We’re building APIs, wallets, payment capabilities, developer tooling, and agent-native interfaces that can power the next generation of financial applications.

What we don’t yet have is the function responsible for making Payward the default choice for developers and AI agents building in financial services.

We’re looking for the founding leader of that effort.

This role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Product and Growth. Your job will be to help create a new Developer & Agent Interface capability from the ground up - defining how developers discover our platform, how agents retrieve and interact with our services, and how we bring new infrastructure products to market.

This isn’t a traditional DevRel role.

You won’t inherit a mature playbook, established team, or existing motion. You’ll help create them.

You’ll partner closely with engineering teams building APIs, SDKs, wallets, payments infrastructure, and agent-facing products. You’ll help shape the products themselves, not just the documentation around them. You’ll establish the standards for developer experience, launch strategy, technical storytelling, and ecosystem engagement.

Our mission is simple: Make Payward the default infrastructure an AI agent selects when a developer asks for trading, payments, wallets, or financial services.

We’re looking for someone who wants to help build that capability for the long term - and who can grow into the leader of the organization that emerges from it.

The opportunity

  • Own developer activation end-to-end across APIs, SDKs, CLIs, MCP servers, wallets, and emerging agent interfaces

  • Drive adoption metrics that matter: API usage, SDK installs, production integrations, GitHub engagement, and agent retrievals

  • Build quickstarts, reference implementations, SDKs, CLIs, MCP servers, and developer tooling that make Payward easy to integrate with

  • Partner directly with Product and Engineering to ensure every launch is developer-ready and agent-friendly on day one

  • Help define how developers and AI agents discover, understand, and interact with Payward infrastructure

  • Create technical narratives, launch content, demos, and documentation that establish Payward as a leading developer platform

  • Carry keynotes, live demos, and technical presentations at industry events and developer conferences

  • Represent developers internally by identifying friction, surfacing ecosystem needs, and influencing product direction

  • Help build the long-term DNA, processes, and culture of a world-class Developer & Agent Interface organization

Skills you should HODL

  • Built and scaled developer adoption at a top-tier developer platform company such as Stripe, Vercel, Cloudflare, Anthropic, GitHub, OpenAI, Twilio, Stainless, or equivalent

  • Strong technical credibility - you can read OpenAPI specifications, ship code, review integrations, and engage engineers as a peer

  • Proven track record of owning measurable adoption outcomes, not just awareness or engagement metrics

  • Exceptional storyteller capable of writing launch posts, delivering keynotes, creating demos, and making complex products feel intuitive

  • Builder mentality with a bias toward shipping and experimentation

  • Deep understanding of modern developer ecosystems and workflows

  • Agent-era literacy - you’ve worked with MCP servers, agent tooling, structured retrieval, or AI-native developer experiences and understand where retrieval beats SEO

  • Experience working closely with engineering and product teams to shape the developer experience itself, not just the messaging around it

Nice to haves

  • Experience building developer platforms from an early stage rather than joining an already mature DevRel organization

  • Understanding of wallets, identity, authentication, and agent-native transaction flows

Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.

We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.

Kraken is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate all Krakenites for their diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions and unique perspectives. We hire strictly based on merit, meaning we seek out the candidates with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills considered the most suitable for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don’t fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you’re passionate or knowledgable about crypto!

We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments are designed to evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Assessment results are considered alongside other relevant information, such as experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.

As an equal opportunity employer, we don’t tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind. Whether that’s based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state or local laws.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to join the team supporting Charles Schwab. This individual will operate at the intersection of institutional account management, strategy and execution. This role is designed for a highly strategic operator who can own and grow complex relationships, while also driving end-to-end execution of new, often ambiguous initiatives that push into new operating models of how AI-powered financial planning solutions are delivered.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, translating customer needs, constraints, and long-term objectives into actionable strategies, while mobilizing internal teams to deliver high-impact outcomes. This is not a traditional account management role; it requires someone who can think like a strategist, operate like a product leader, and execute like a program owner.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Own and deepen relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at various levels across Charles Schwab’s multi-entity, multi-vertical organizations

  • Develop a deep understanding of each of Charles Schwab’s business vertical’s operating model, decision frameworks, and value drivers

  • Act as a strategic thought partner, advising on how to best leverage our platform within their broader ecosystems

  • Anticipate customer needs and proactively shape opportunities for expansion and impact

  • Own post-implementation adoption and value realization, co-defining and tracking success metrics

  • Identify and remove barriers to adoption within complex operating environments

  • Ensure delivered solutions translate into measurable business impact, not just successful implementation

  • Remove blockers in production by ensuring feedback and bugs are reported and resolved in a timely manner

  • Create and deliver quarterly Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to customer stakeholders

Strategy & Execution

  • Translate client goals and constraints into clear, actionable strategic plans

  • Lead zero-to-one initiatives, including new product implementations, workflows, and experiences that may not have precedent within the customer organization or segment

  • Drive execution across ambiguous environments, ensuring progress despite evolving requirements or unclear paths

  • Balance long-term strategic vision with near-term deliverables and milestones

  • Establish structure, operating cadence, and decision frameworks in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence

  • Serve as the voice of the customer in product roadmap discussions, ensuring customer workflows, constraints, and value drivers are clearly represented

  • Translate emerging capabilities (e.g., AI, income tax planning) into frameworks that stakeholders can evaluate and adopt with confidence

  • Navigate customer data sharing, privacy, and legacy system constraints to enable scalable solutions

  • Surface and resolve misalignment early to maintain execution momentum

  • Partner with Charles Schwab’s cross-functional teams (e.g., strategy, product, risk, compliance, operations, technology) to unblock progress, enable successful adoption and valuable feedback loops

  • Serve as the connective tissue across Wealth.com’s Product, Engineering, Design, Legal, Compliance, and Customer Success

  • Influence internal priorities based on Charles Schwab’s feedback and needs

  • Drive alignment across internal leadership and customer executive stakeholders on priorities, sequencing, and trade-offs

Program & Project Management

  • Lead complex, multi-threaded initiatives with competing priorities and stakeholders

  • Establish clear timelines, milestones, and accountability structures

  • Identify risks early and proactively develop mitigation strategies

  • Ensure seamless execution from strategy through implementation and adoption

Executive Communication & Storytelling

  • Create and deliver compelling presentations for both internal and external audiences

  • Distill complex concepts into clear, actionable narratives for executive stakeholders

  • Regularly communicate progress, insights, and recommendations at the leadership level

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in financial services, or AI-powered wealth tech, with a mix of:

    • Strategic account management / relationship management

    • Business strategy and execution

    • Program or product leadership

  • Direct experience working with or within a multi-entity financial institution

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Complex operating models and decision-making structures

    • Delivery channels for financial planning and client-facing roles who sit within these channels

    • How these organizations derive value from platforms like Wealth.com and similar AI-powered financial planning solutions

    • Constraints such as risk, compliance, data governance, and legacy systems

  • Proven ability to navigate and influence cross-functional stakeholders (internal and external)

  • Demonstrated success leading complex, ambiguous initiatives with no clear precedent

  • Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

  • Exceptional communication skills, including executive-level presentation development

  • Ability to thrive under ambiguity, adapt quickly, and manage competing priorities effectively

  • Experience translating business, product, and technical teams to drive alignment and execution

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, CFPⓇ or related master's degree strongly preferred

  • Experience designing or implementing tax planning or financial planning workflows, including integration into enterprise systems

  • Familiarity with AI-enabled solutions within financial services and their associated risk/governance considerations

  • Background in product management, experience design, or platform strategy

  • Track record of influencing product roadmaps based on customer needs

What Success Looks Like

This role sits at the core of how we translate innovation into real-world impact for some of the most complex wealth management organizations in financial services. Success requires not just understanding the client, but reshaping how work gets done across both organizations.

  • You are viewed by clients as a trusted strategic partner, not just a vendor

  • You successfully drive adoption of new capabilities, even in highly complex and constrained environments

  • You create clarity and forward momentum in situations where others see ambiguity or roadblocks

  • You elevate internal teams’ understanding of Schwab’s needs and influence product direction accordingly

  • You consistently deliver outcomes that balance customer value, business impact, scalability, and operational feasibility

Benefits & Perks

  • Excellent medical, dental, and vision insurance options, with low-cost premium structures that demonstrate our commitment to offering great value to our employees

Head of Customer Success owns retention metrics, leads the retention team, and partners with support/engineering/product to reduce churn and improve NPS.

What this role involves

Headquarters: Remote

WPML is the world's most popular multilingual plugin for WordPress. We power hundreds of thousands of paying customers. Our customers are agencies, store owners, publishers, and governments. We have been profitable for over a decade. We ship real software that real customers depend on. We are not a startup looking for product-market fit. We are a mature company that needs someone to own one of our most important numbers.

The Job

You own retention. Not coordinate it. Own it.

That means:

  • Churn rate, renewal rate, and net revenue retention are yours. You set the targets. You build the plan. You ship the work. You report the results.
  • Our NPS program and our public-rating surfaces (Trustpilot, Capterra, G2) are metrics you move. They are not projects you status-report on.
  • You lead the existing Retention team and shape its evolution. You coach the team. You get more from the people on it than they are getting from themselves today. The team's shape will evolve as your AI-amplified work scales.
  • You work with Support, Engineering, and Product as your three core counterparts. Support is where today's churn signal lives. You constantly mine what is trending and what customers are struggling with right now. You will not request reports from Support. You will use our internal intelligence tools and look yourself. Engineering and Product are where you ship retention-critical fixes. You arrive with business cases that make prioritization obvious.
  • You report to the CEO directly. No layers. No fancy slides. Only results.

Who You Are

  • You want to be doing the work, not just managing it. Your best weeks are the ones where you wrote the strategy, ran the analysis, drafted the comms, and shipped the experiment yourself. AI tools are part of your daily working stack. You use them to do more, not to escape doing. If you have been promoted away from doing the work and you miss it, this is the job.
  • You have measurably moved a retention metric at a previous company. You can describe exactly how. Specific numbers. Specific actions. Specific results.
  • You come from a self-serve B2B SaaS. SMB, prosumer, or developer tools. You know the difference between running a self-serve renewal motion and running an enterprise CSM team. You have done the former.
  • You are data-fluent. You read funnels for fun. You can write SQL or instruct an analyst precisely.
  • You decide. When you have 70% of the information, you commit and adjust. You do not escalate decisions back to your CEO that you were hired to make.
  • You treat coordination as the cost of the work, not the substance of it.

If your most recent experience is enterprise CSM with a dedicated book of accounts, this is not the role.

What We Offer

  • A real metric to move. The authority to move it.
  • Direct, regular access to the CEO. No politics. No committees.
  • An AI-amplified working culture. The CEO uses AI tools daily for analysis, drafting, and strategic work. You are expected to do the same. We invest in the tooling and the team norms that let a small operation punch above its weight.
  • Competitive senior-leadership compensation. Specifics with HR.
  • 100% remote since 2008. Strong async culture. Modest meeting load. Real flexibility on hours.
  • Competent counterparts. Our engineering team ships. Our product team ships. Our support team is in daily contact with customers and produces real intelligence about what is breaking. You will not be the only person trying to make things happen.
  • Direct access to customer intelligence. We have internal tools that let you probe support trends, ticket patterns, account behavior, and churn signals on demand. No reports to request. No meetings to schedule. The data is in front of you whenever you want to look.
  • Generous time off. Education and conference budget. Hardware.
  • A 17-year-old profitable company. Stability without bureaucracy.

We’re excited to hear from people who enjoy building, improving, and making a real impact, and we look forward to learning more about you!

And with JunieAI, our purpose-built AI platform, we’re reimagining how private markets operate, embedding intelligence across every workflow. Founder-led since 2014, backed by $350M+ in funding, and now 1,000+ employees strong, we’re building a company designed to shape the future of private markets for decades to come.

Our culture is built for people who want to do ambitious, meaningful work alongside exceptionally talented teammates. We think like owners, move with urgency, and take pride in solving hard problems that truly matter to our customers and the future of private markets. We believe the best ideas come from open debate, deep collaboration, and diverse perspectives, which is why we believe transparency is the default and feedback makes us stronger. If you’re energized by high standards, rapid growth, and the opportunity to help define a category at a pivotal moment, come join us!

Juniper Square offers employees a variety of ways to work, ranging from a fully remote experience to working full-time in one of our physical offices. We invest heavily in digital-first operations, allowing our teams to collaborate effectively across 27 U.S. states, 2 Canadian Provinces, India, Luxembourg, and England. We also have physical offices in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai and Bangalore for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Principal Engineer to join our Platform team, which owns foundational services like CIAM, Authorization, Search, API Infrastructure — and the tools, frameworks, and developer experience improvements that power engineering at Juniper Square. You’ll be the senior-most technical voice on the team, blending hands-on engineering with technical leadership, architectural ownership, and cross-functional influence.

What You’ll Do

  • Operates as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for high-impact initiatives; takes full ownership of project health, system design, and end-to-end delivery.

  • Partners closely with Product Management and cross-functional teams to clarify ambiguous requirements, map business goals to technical scopes, and manage dependencies.

  • architectural design, pragmatic task breakdown, and execution planning, driving a team of engineers toward incremental deliverables.

  • Establish reusable patterns, technical standards, and platform primitives that other teams can build on.

  • Improve engineering efficiency through better tooling, automation, documentation, observability, and developer workflows.

  • Mentor engineers, raise the quality of technical decision-making, and help the team execute with consistency.

  • Drives adoption of AI tooling across the SDLC — building internal capabilities that automate engineering workflows while ensuring security, compliance, and best-practice alignment.

What We’re Looking For

  • 12+ years of experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed production systems.

  • Strong backend engineering experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Pyramid, or Django.

  • Experience leading technical design for complex systems, including making architecture decisions, evaluating tradeoffs, and guiding implementation across multiple engineers or teams.

  • Experience with relational/nosql databases, including schema design, performance tuning, query optimization, and data modeling.

  • Experience building and operating cloud-native systems using technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, observability, reliability, and operational excellence in production environments.

  • Ability to work through ambiguity, break down complex technical problems, and drive alignment across engineering, product, and design.

  • Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to independently drive high-impact initiatives while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to raise engineering quality through technical standards, design reviews, mentoring, and reusable platform patterns.

  • Passion for improving developer experience through better platforms, tooling, automation, documentation, and engineering workflows.

  • You are flexible and adaptable—you will be juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Comfortable driving a technical vision with a focus on shipping value incrementally rather than waiting for a big-bang release.

Nice to Have

  • Platform team experience building tools and services consumed by other developers.

  • Experience building or integrating AI/LLM-powered systems in production, such as AI SDKs, RAG pipelines, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, prompt/tool orchestration, or model observability.

  • CIAM/Identity systems — Auth0, Okta, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, or custom-built identity infrastructure.

  • Security-aware design — least-privilege access, secrets management, secure API gateway patterns.

  • Passion for growing others through coaching, delegation, and leading by example.
