Project Management Toptal: Technical Program Manager — SAP Master Data & S/4HANA Migration | Remote

Lead SAP master data transformation programs and migrations, owning technical architecture decisions, cutover sequencing, and cross-functional coordination across delivery teams.

Senior Remote Posted about 13 hours ago We Work Remotely — Programming
What this role involves

Headquarters: Remote
URL: https://www.toptal.com/

About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Program Manager to lead complex SAP master data transformation programs — spanning S/4HANA migrations, master data governance, and cross-domain data architecture. This isn't a role for someone who manages timelines from the sidelines: you'll need real technical depth in SAP MDG and master data design to make credible calls, sequence cutovers, and serve as the authoritative technical voice across delivery, functional, and platform teams. If you can pair program leadership with hands-on SAP architecture fluency, this role gives you ownership over both the "how" and the "when."

What You'll Do

  • Own program-level planning and sequencing for SAP master data initiatives, including migration cutover timing, dependency mapping, and freeze procedures

  • Serve as the authoritative technical advisor across delivery, functional, and platform teams on master data architecture decisions

  • Define and oversee the target-state data model across master data domains (e.g., Customer/Business Partner, Material, Vendor, Finance)

  • Lead design conversations on conversion strategy, hierarchy/classification structures, and golden-record/system-of-record rules

  • Set technical standards for data model extensions, custom fields, and governance workflows (e.g., SAP MDG, BRF+, change request design)

  • Own the mock-load cadence, defect triage process, and reconciliation framework, ensuring data integrity through migration

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to manage risk, resolve blockers, and keep migration programs on schedule and in scope

  • Provide architectural review for new integrations and downstream distribution patterns touching master data

  • Maintain transparent stakeholder communication, including status reporting, milestone tracking, and translating technical complexity for business audiences

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP master data architecture, data architecture, or technical program management within SAP environments

  • Experience with at least one full lifecycle S/4HANA implementation or ECC to S/4 conversion, ideally including Business Partner conversion

  • Hands-on technical depth in SAP MDG or equivalent master data governance tooling

  • Strong understanding of data modeling, hierarchy/classification design, and migration methodology (e.g., SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW)

  • Familiarity with integration patterns such as ALE/IDoc, DRF/SOA, OData/REST APIs

  • Proven ability to manage program-level risk, scope, budget, and cross-functional coordination

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • SAP Certified Application Associate — Master Data Governance, S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement, or Finance

  • PMP or other project/program management certification

  • TOGAF 9 or 10

  • CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional)

  • Experience with data quality tools such as SAP Information Steward, Syniti, Stibo, Collibra, or Informatica MDM

Why This Role

  • Real technical ownership: Lead architecture decisions, not just status meetings

  • High-stakes scope: Own outcomes that determine the integrity of an entire S/4HANA master data landscape

  • Cross-functional influence: Serve as the technical anchor across delivery, functional, and platform teams

  • Depth and breadth: Combine program leadership with deep, hands-on SAP expertise

Senior Remote Posted about 13 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Our Vision

uMed seeks to be a cornerstone of the efforts to reduce the burden of disease for patients by radically reducing the barriers to knowledge creation.

Join us.

Our Culture

We are a group of trusting and inclusive individuals, who encourage, are creative and want to make a difference in the world. We do not take ourselves too seriously and we love to tell a story. We innovate, work hard and take risks but at the forefront is a joint mission to be part of groundbreaking research to ultimately advance and develop science to support those most in need.

What we do

The process of conducting clinical research is incredibly expensive and time consuming, limiting our efforts to find answers to the world’s most important medical challenges. uMed is a clinical research network fit for the 21st century, underpinned by cutting edge technology that connects patients, electronic health data and research groups across the world. Our rapidly growing network covers 90 GP sites in the UK representing over 2,000,000 patients with our first US healthcare system joining us this year bringing a further 5M patients. uMed was founded by an NHS doctor, supported by a world class board and backed by London and US based venture capital.

Life at uMed

No matter what an organisation is trying to achieve, success or failure is inextricably linked to the people within it. For a young company, there is no redundancy, so this relationship is turned up to eleven.

At uMed we punch well above our weight due to the quality of the team we have built, and their dedication to our shared vision. Recognising this dedication, we have a fantastic benefits package and accompanying culture at uMed. This includes

1. 25 days holidays or pro-rata for part time work

2. 8 bank holidays or pro-rata for part time work

3. Fully remote working

4. Quarterly meetings with the whole team at our office in London

6. Job Type: Full time

7. Competitive salary

8. Private pension in accordance with UK legislation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the scoping, evaluation, and commercial shaping of sub-studies following internal process, acting as a key partner to the commercial team during proposal and contracting stages.
  • Execution and management of sub-studies including sponsor relations, acting as the senior point of contact for escalations, contract renewals and expansions, and identifying opportunities to grow the account.
  • Utilize internal project management tools and methodologies to effectively plan, track, and report on programme progress, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Own programme-level budget accountability in collaboration with Finance partner, including forecasting, margin awareness, and early identification of commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate risks and issues, collaborating closely with internal teams to develop effective strategies. Act as the escalation point for programme-level risks, exercising judgement on when to escalate to leadership and leading cross-functional resolution.
  • Build and manage relationships with external clients at a senior level, ensuring their needs and expectations are met, communication is consistent, and their direction is reflected across the project. Lead sponsor-facing governance (steering committees, quarterly business reviews), setting the agenda and narrative.
  • Collaborate with technical product and engineering teams to identify technology solutions in service of the Cohort(s) and sub-studies. Shape the technology roadmap conversation by translating project needs into prioritised requirements, and oversee documentation of requirements and end-user testing.
  • Ensure strict compliance with data privacy regulations and maintain the security of Protected Health Information (PHI).
  • Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills to establish and maintain rapport with diverse groups of stakeholders — internal and external.
  • Oversee internal reporting of Cohort(s) and sub-study progress, and represent the programme function in cross-functional forums, contributing to strategic planning, capacity planning, and prioritisation decisions.
  • Ensure regulatory requirements are met across all geographies.
  • Management of the programme core and wider teams to ensure effective and efficient management of all work in relation to the Cohort(s).
  • Mentor and support the development of more junior team members, including reviewing their programme plans and deliverables.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of research delivery, and programme management processes, tools, templates, and best practice across the function.

  • Exceptional client management skills with a demonstrated history of successful stakeholder engagement and relationship building, including navigating difficult conversations, escalations, and commercial discussions with senior sponsor/client contacts.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage complex projects spanning multiple business functions.
  • Strong experience in risk and issue management, with a talent for collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and software to facilitate project execution.
  • Quick to establish and maintain rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience mentoring or line-managing project/programme management staff.
  • Track record of improving processes or ways of working, not just operating within them.
  • Commercial acumen - experience with budget ownership, forecasting, and understanding programme profitability.
  • Experience in healthcare, clinical trials, or research expected at this level.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical trials and regulations is a bonus.
  • Experience working with technical product or engineering teams is a plus.

See yourself at Twilio

Join the team as our next Senior Technical Program Manager, Service Delivery Systems on the GCS Strategy & Operations team.

About the job

We are looking for a hands-on technical builder to join the GCS Strategy & Operations organization. This role owns the technical foundation that powers how GCS delivers customer outcomes at scale — the intelligent automation, knowledge systems, and decision logic embedded in the service delivery workflows of our Technical Account Management, Professional Services, and Engagement Management teams. You’ll design and build systems, including AI workflows that operate within the Customer Experience Operations (CXO) governance model and you’ll be accountable to GCS business outcomes: resolution rates, revenue-per-headcount, product adoption and more.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering and program management. You’ll write code every week, but your success is measured in GCS outcomes for customers, not a technology roadmap. You’ll partner daily with GCS Program Managers, Technical Account Management, Professional Services and Twilio Engineering teams to turn director-level business requirements into reliable, auditable systems.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Architect and build the systems that encode how GCS operates — account health observability, intelligent routing, knowledge retrieval, and workflow automation across our TAM, PS, and EM motions; including cost optimization.
  • Build AI workflows using the Anthropic Claude API, Claude Agent SDK, and Claude Code, including MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers that connect agents to Slack, Jira, Zendesk, Grafana, Airtable, and internal Twilio systems.
  • Partner with CXO to design the decision frameworks that determine when systems act autonomously, when humans stay in the loop and own the guardrails — edge cases caught, prompt injection blocked, unintended behaviors prevented — that keep failure rates low.
  • Extend GCS’s observability and analytics foundation with production-quality dashboards and integrations across Grafana (ClickHouse-backed), Salesforce, Tableau, Looker, and Airtable — choosing the right tool for the audience and data source rather than defaulting to one platform.
  • Operate within CXO’s vetting-and-graduation governance model, and help mature it: versioning, evaluation frameworks, A/B testing, and systematic performance measurement across scenarios with GCS specific focus.
  • Instrument everything you build — retrieval accuracy, action success rates, deflection, and failure patterns — and tie technical performance to GCS outcomes like time to value, resolution rate, cost-per-ticket, and time-to-resolution.
  • Translate complex system behavior into plain language for director and executive audiences while producing clear technical documentation for the teams who depend on your systems.

Qualifications

Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. If your career is just starting or hasn’t followed a traditional path, don’t let that stop you from considering Twilio. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!

*Required:

  • 7+ years of experience building production software or technical systems, in roles such as platform engineering, solutions architecture, or hands-on technical program management.
  • Production-quality proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript (Node.js), with fluency in REST API integration fundamentals: authentication (OAuth 2.0, API keys, token refresh), webhooks, pagination, rate limiting, error handling and retries, and JSON transformation.
  • Hands-on experience building AI systems with large language models — tool use / function calling, structured outputs, prompt architecture, and evaluation harnesses — including building and deploying MCP servers to connect enterprise systems.
  • Deep understanding of how large language models work: how they reason, where they fail, and why. Fluency in RAG architectures, prompt engineering patterns, and agent frameworks.
  • Advanced SQL, including analytical queries against columnar stores such as ClickHouse.
  • Dashboard and application development experience across Grafana (data sources, panels, variables, dashboard-as-code, alerting), Salesforce (SOQL, report types, Lightning reports and dashboards), Tableau (data modeling, calculated fields, LOD expressions, publishing to Tableau Cloud or Server), Looker (LookML modeling, Explores, derived tables, publishing to dashboards), and Airtable (base/table design, automations, scripting extensions, API integration) — with the judgment to choose the right tool for a given audience and data source.
  • Strong engineering practices: Git-based version control, code review, basic CI, and least-privilege patterns when handling customer data.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into system specifications and explain complex technical behavior to non-technical stakeholders.

Desired:

  • Experience embedded in a support or professional services organization, building systems for the teams doing the work.
  • Experience with Zendesk or similar service platforms, including APIs, triggers, and routing logic.
  • Experience defining metrics and observability for AI systems in production, and running structured A/B tests or evaluations.
  • Familiarity with Twilio’s products or the CPaaS/SaaS domain.

Location

This role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.

  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.

What this role involves

About Us

Abacus Insights is transforming how data works for health plans. Our mission is simple: make healthcare data usable, so the people responsible for care and cost decisions can act faster, with confidence.

We help health plans break down data silos to create a single, trusted data foundation. That foundation powers better decisions—so plans can improve outcomes, reduce waste, and deliver better experiences for members and providers alike. Backed by $100M from top investors, we’re tackling big challenges in an industry that’s ready for change. Our platform enables GenAI use cases by delivering clean, connected, and reliable healthcare data to support automation, prioritization, and decision workflows—and it’s why we are leading the way.

Our innovation begins with people. We are bold, curious, and collaborative—because the best ideas come from working together. We embrace the thoughtful use of AI and automation to drive innovation and efficiency, and we look for individuals who are curious and adaptable—those excited to leverage emerging technologies to enhance how we work—while keeping human insight, connection, and our clients at the center of every decision.

Ready to make an impact? Join us and let’s build the future together.

About the Role

Abacus Insights is at the forefront of transforming how health plans harness their data, and we are looking for a driven project leader to join our Implementation Program Management Office and help us deliver on that mission. You will lead complex, high-visibility IT projects across the US healthcare payer space, working at the intersection of cutting-edge cloud technology and one of the most consequential industries in the country.

You will own end-to-end delivery across a portfolio of client implementations, partnering with technical, clinical, and client-facing teams to solve hard problems and move fast without sacrificing quality. The work is real, the stakes are high, and the impact is visible.

For the right person, this role is also a launching pad — offering a clear path into senior PMO leadership, deep exposure to modern cloud-based data infrastructure, and a front-row seat to the future of healthcare technology at a company that is growing quickly and building something that lasts.

Your day to day

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple large-scale projects or multiple smaller projects, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality are consistently achieved
  • Coordinate closely with Client Delivery Managers to understand client requirements and translate them into delivery objectives, milestones, dependencies, and sequencing that support an accurate and effective project schedule.
  • Apply industry standard project management practices across Schedule Management, Risk Management, Communications Management, and Stakeholder Engagement to improve delivery predictability, transparency, and cross-functional accountability.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional technical teams and client teams to understand delivery needs, constraints, and dependencies, then translate those inputs into clear business-facing decisions, status updates, mitigation plans, and executive-level project health reporting.
  • Own integrated project schedule management, including work plan development, milestone tracking, dependency management, critical path visibility, variance reporting, and alignment to client requirements.
  • Maintain disciplined risk and issue management practices, including RAID log ownership, proactive risk identification, mitigation planning, escalation path management, and follow-through on issue resolution.
  • Conduct detailed resource planning and capacity management to support realistic delivery commitments and schedule execution.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings to maintain project health visibility, confirm decisions and next steps, and ensure timely escalation of risks, issues, and dependencies.

What you bring to the team

  • Delivery Leadership: 10+ years leading technically complex IT projects and programs, with 5+ years in a dedicated Project Manager role and a consistent track record of on-time, high-quality delivery.
  • End-to-End Project Governance: Proven ability to drive projects through the full lifecycle — initiation through handover — using standard PMO artifacts including Project Charter, RAID, RACI, schedules, and status reporting.
  • Agile & Hybrid Delivery: Comfortable managing in hybrid environments that combine Agile team execution with milestone-based planning, schedule governance, and structured stakeholder reporting.
  • Technical Acumen: Experience coordinating across software development, data engineering, system integration, QA, and architecture functions — with enough technical fluency to make informed calls on risks and trade-offs.
  • Risk & Dependency Management: Strong instincts for proactively identifying, tracking, and escalating risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies. No surprises to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills across client, leadership, and cross-functional audiences. Comfortable defending a position, driving decisions, and holding team members accountable.
  • Tools: Hands-on experience with Smartsheet and Jira to support schedule management, backlog coordination, RAID tracking, and stakeholder reporting.

What we would like to see, but not required

  • US Healthcare implementation experience, with direct exposure to healthcare payer environments, enabling faster onboarding and effective client engagement within Abacus’ payer‑focused delivery model
  • Experience working for or with a US Medicaid payer.
  • Formal project management certification such as PMP® or PRINCE2®, demonstrating strong grounding in structured delivery governance, planning, and control
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification, supporting effective collaboration with Product, Engineering, and QA teams in Agile or hybrid delivery models
  • Exposure to agentic AI

What you’ll get in return

  • Competitive Leave & Benefits
  • Comprehensive health coverage
  • Equity for every employee – share in our success
  • Growth-focused environment – your development matters here

Work arrangements

  • Standard hours: 9 hours/day, 5 days/week
  • Location: Remote (5 PM -2 AM IST)
  • Shift: Your standard working hours will be nine (9) hours per day within the Company’s standard working hours.  Specific working hours may vary based on business needs.

Our Commitment as an Equal Opportunity Employer

As a mission-led technology company helping to drive better healthcare outcomes, Abacus Insights believes that the best innovation and value we can bring to our customers comes from diverse ideas, thoughts, experiences, and perspectives. Project Management Risk PMO Program Manager at Stripe

Senior program manager owns and executes large-scale regulatory initiatives end-to-end, bridging cross-functional teams and building systems that improve operational processes.

Senior Posted 6 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Risk PMO team protects Stripe’s revenue and drives cross-functional strategy for company-level and org-level priorities. As Stripe operates across an increasingly complex and fast-moving global regulatory environment, one of our most important functions is ensuring that our largest, most strategic users can grow with us—compliantly, confidently, and at speed.

We sit at the intersection of Legal, Compliance, Engineering, Product, Data Science, and GTM—serving as the bridge between teams coordinating massive programs with global, wide-reaching impact. We build durable systems that enable strong collaboration across functions and seamless experiences for our users.

If you’re energized by high-stakes, ambiguous problems and thrive on building programs from scratch in environments where the rules are still being written—we want to hear from you.

What you’ll do

You will define, own, and execute program strategies for large-scale regulatory initiatives, operating with significant autonomy across a portfolio of global projects.

This is a highly visible, senior individual contributor (IC) role. While you will influence senior leadership and set strategic direction, you are also the primary driver of execution. You will need to zoom out to design the long-term vision, and zoom in to manage the details—building templates, tracking deliverables, writing documentation, and directly unblocking cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute high-stakes global programs end-to-end, from initial strategy and scoping to project planning, day-to-day tracking, and change management
  • Drive step-change improvements in our operational processes, rolling up your sleeves to build systems and workflows that directly improve business outcomes and top-line metrics
  • Bridge compliance and commercial strategy by partnering with GTM and account leadership to turn complex regulatory requirements into a competitive advantage that builds deep user trust
  • Build and run operating models across diverse cross-functional teams (including Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, and Compliance), keeping highly distributed workstreams aligned and accountable
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by preparing strategic reviews for senior stakeholders and managing critical escalations
  • Translate user friction into program evolution by establishing structured, data-driven approaches to gather user feedback and turning those insights into actionable product and operational improvements
  • Diagnose and resolve systemic operational gaps before they impact our users, building self-healing processes and scalable internal infrastructure
  • Champion Stripe’s Operating Principles by fostering a high-performance culture that values rigorous thinking, rapid execution, and putting users first

Who you are

You are a highly strategic operator, a masterful communicator, and a systems thinker with operational grit. You thrive in the gray area, possessing the ability to translate ambiguous global challenges into elegant, structured, and highly actionable operational frameworks.

You are a natural leader who leads by influence and by example. You have a deep empathy for the user, an unyielding bias toward action, and you take pride in the craft of execution. No problem is too complex for you to deconstruct, and no detail is too small if it impacts the user experience.

Minimum requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Program Management, Strategy & Operations, Management Consulting, or Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Hands-on execution track record: Proven ability to work independently as an individual contributor, managing complex, multi-stakeholder project plans and deliverables from inception to completion
  • Exceptional communication & storytelling: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a proven ability to distill highly complex, technical, or regulatory topics into clear, succinct, and persuasive narratives to external and senior audiences
  • Systems and infrastructure builder: Deep experience designing, launching, and scaling complex cross-functional operating models, feedback loops, and PMO frameworks
  • Growth mindset: A high willingness to learn, adapt quickly to changing environments, and actively seek and act on feedback to continuously improve

Preferred qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in high-growth technology or fintech environments
  • Deep cross-functional partnership: Prior experience working alongside Engineering, Product, Legal, Compliance, and GTM/Sales
  • Data fluency: Experience leveraging data visualization tools and analytical frameworks to back up strategic decisions and measure program success

Project Management Technical Program Manager - Platform at Candid Health

Technical Program Manager drives cross-functional alignment and orchestrates complex platform initiatives across engineering and product teams to maximize velocity and operational stability.

Senior Posted 7 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

The Role

At Candid Health, we’re searching for a Platform Technical Program Manager (TPM) to work directly with engineering and product leadership to design, implement, and scale the operational frameworks that keep our teams moving fast. As a key strategic investment for our platform, you will tackle highly visible initiatives, turning complex, multi-team dependencies into clear, predictable execution roadmaps. Your mission is to maximize engineering velocity and stability, ensuring our infrastructure effortlessly scales alongside our business.

This is an opportunity to get in at the ground floor of designing a world-class operational engine alongside top-tier talent in a highly collaborative, data-informed environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with Platform Engineering, Product Management, and Delivery leaders to translate long-term product strategy and technical architecture into actionable, shared roadmaps.

  • Orchestrate Complex Technical Launches: Lead the end-to-end planning and risk management for critical platform initiatives—such as major cloud migrations, framework upgrades, or API changes—ensuring seamless rollouts with zero operational disruption.

  • Bridge Internal Systems & External Interfaces: Bring order to chaos by aligning internal metric tracking (OKRs, KPIs) with external platform touchpoints, smoothly coordinating how we roll out infrastructure changes to both internal teams and external customer IT partners.

  • Standardize Delivery Frameworks: Establish lightweight, highly effective operational processes across the department. Optimize project management tools (e.g., Jira, Linear), eliminate structural bottlenecks, and create clear visibility into project health for stakeholders.

Who You Are

  • An Experienced Program Leader: You bring 5+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional technical programs within a fast-growing B2B SaaS or platform ecosystem.

  • A Chaos Coordinator: You have a proven track record of managing multi-team technical rollouts—such as system-wide migrations, access management updates, or core developer tool implementations—from concept to completion.

  • Operational Architect: You possess well-developed philosophies on what great execution looks like, knowing how to balance process with speed, and how to measure organizational velocity effectively.

  • Data-Informed Problem Solver: You are highly data-literate and love using numbers to tell a story. You are comfortable writing SQL or leveraging modern AI productivity tools to track metrics, diagnose roadblocks, and automate status tracking.

  • An Exceptional Translator: You are a clear, empathetic communicator who can effortlessly bridge the gap between deeply technical infrastructure concepts and business-facing teams, executives, or client IT departments.

Pay Transparency

The estimated starting annual salary range for this position is $165,000 to $209,000 USD; commensurate with experience. The listed range is a guideline from Pave data, and the actual base salary may be modified based on factors including job-related skills, experience/qualifications, interview performance, market data, etc. Total compensation for this position may also include equity, sales incentives (for sales roles), and employee benefits.
