About Altruist
Altruist is transforming the multi-trillion dollar wealth management industry by building an AI platform for wealth professionals. We partner with financial advisors nationwide, empowering them to grow, optimize time and resources, and deliver superior outcomes for their clients.
Weâre looking for exceptional talent to help us achieve our mission of making financial advice better, more affordable, and accessible to all. If youâre passionate about challenging the status quo and want to do the most important work of your life, weâd love to meet you!
But first, our values
Kindness - Kindness doesnât just equal niceness. We listen to understand. We embrace, and encourage healthy debate and diverse perspectives. We approach conflict openly, honestly, and respectfully.
Brilliance - Humility is the skill weâre most proud of and possessing a growth mindset is always top of mind. We take ownership in everything we touch; regularly using our unique superpowers to reach a common goal as a team. We succeed and fail as one.
Grit - When challenges arise, we stay laser focused on achieving our mission and finding a way forward, even when itâs hard. We are nimble and maintain a sense of urgency, swiftly adapting to change and overcoming obstacles.
The opportunity
Weâre looking for a Corporate RIA Onboarding Program Lead to own the onboarding experience for Altruistâs newest and fastest-growing segment: advisors and teams transitioning from corporate RIA or broker-dealer platforms to Altruist Advisors, our corporate RIA model that gives advisors a faster, lower-friction way to run their own practice â with the option to move toward full independence over time. This role blends hands-on onboarding execution with program-level ownership â youâll personally lead a caseload of complex transitions while also serving as the primary relationship owner for Corporate RIA IARs throughout onboarding and steady-state support, and the central point of accountability across Sales, Onboarding, Support, Operations, and Compliance for delivering that experience.
Corporate RIA firms typically move their entire book in a single, concentrated wave rather than in phases, and advisors coming from this environment bring service expectations shaped by more traditional platforms. This role calls for someone who can bring Altruistâs technology-first approach to these transitions while also delivering the hands-on, consistent experience these advisors expect from start to finish.
This is a new and evolving role. As the Corporate RIA segment grows, this position â and the team supporting it â will evolve too. You should be comfortable operating without a fully mature playbook and want to help build the one that doesnât exist yet.
This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office.

Engineering manager leads Maps & Search team, owns hiring/coaching/technical direction, stays hands-on with code while scaling a high-throughput search platform handling 1B+ monthly requests.
Luxury Presence is building the AI growth platform for real estate. Backed by Bessemer Venture Partners and other top investors, weâre a Series C company that has hit $100M in annual recurring revenue. More than 90,000 real estate professionals, including over 30% of the WSJ Real Trends top 100 agents in the United States, use us to run and grow their business.
We donât just use AI. We build with it, ship with it, and think with it. With a generous budget for tokens, our engineers use AI agents to write, review, and ship production code every day. We are building toward a world where humans design systems and AI builds them, and we are already far along that path.
We are hiring a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead Maps & Search. This team owns the home search experience across web and mobile. Itâs one of the most visible, highest-traffic surfacesâthe search service alone handles a billion requests every month.
This is a role for a manager who leads from the front: someone who still lives in their terminal with AI, has strong opinions about how AI changes the SDLC, and wants to amplify what a small, senior, AI-augmented team can accomplish. You will set technical direction, stay close to the code, and help the team produce consistent impact.
Lead and grow the Maps & Search team. Own hiring, onboarding, coaching, 1:1s, direct feedback, and career development. Treat management as a craft and build a healthy, high-performing team that ships impactful changes.
Stay hands-on. Contribute directly â code and design reviews, architecture, thorny debuggingâ and stay technical enough to make smart calls on trade-offs.
Own and scale a high-throughput search platform. Drive the architecture, relevance, latency, and reliability of a real estate search system handling ~1B monthly requests and hundreds of millions of listings.
Deliver a world-class home search experience. Own the core home discovery experience across web and mobile â improving engagement, lead conversion, and agent workflows while keeping interactions fast and responsive at scale.
Push forward AI-powered discovery. Partner across teams to bring LLMs and intelligent ranking into search and user workflows, improving how buyers and agents discover, filter, and engage with listings.
Shape the roadmap with product and design. Define what we build and why, not just focusing on the how. Translate user needs and business goals into a clear technical plan, and own delivery end to end â planning, quality, reliability, and incident response.
You lead from the front. Youâre still close to the code and technically respected, and you treat management as a craft â growing engineers, giving clear feedback, and building a team that ships.
You already build with AI daily. You use AI as a core part of your workflow, not as a novelty â and you expect your team to as well.
You have strong opinions, loosely held, about how AI changes software architecture, team structure, and engineering culture.
You think in systems. You connect technical decisions to customer outcomes and business value.
You communicate clearly and directly. You can explain complex tradeoffs to product, design, and executive stakeholders.
Youâre energized by ambiguity and speed. You thrive in a fast-growing company where the roadmap evolves and ownership is real.
You like to have fun at work. We take our craft seriously, but we donât take ourselves too seriously. We celebrate wins, crack jokes, and genuinely enjoy building together.
8+ years of professional software engineering experience with meaningful senior or staff-level time, plus 2+ years managing engineering teams.
Search experience â youâve worked on search, relevance, ranking, or retrieval systems. It doesnât have to be OpenSearch or Elasticsearch specifically, but you understand how search works and how to make it better.
Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React, with the full-stack fluency to reason about the whole request path from UI to data.
Experience designing and operating scalable microservice architectures in cloud-native environments (AWS preferred).
Strong understanding of GraphQL, event-driven systems (Kafka), and databases (PostgreSQL, OpenSearch).
A proven track record operating high-traffic, low-latency production systems at scale â SLOs, incident response, and capacity planning are second nature.
Experience leading high-impact initiatives from concept through production in a SaaS environment.
Frontend: React, Tailwind, Apollo
Backend: Node.js / TypeScript microservices
Data: PostgreSQL, OpenSearch
Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Lambda
Messaging: Kafka, Redis

Luxury Presence is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.

Lead Technical Program Manager orchestrates cross-functional program execution across hardware, software, and autonomy teams to deliver autonomous vehicle platforms on time.
Waabi, founded by AI visionary Raquel Urtasun, is the leader in Physical AI. With a world-class team, weâre unlocking the next era of autonomous transportation with technology thatâs powering commercial autonomous trucks and robotaxis. Waabi is backed by and partners with world leaders in AI, automotive, logistics, and deep tech.
With offices in Toronto, San Francisco, Dallas, and Pittsburgh, Waabi is growing quickly and looking for diverse, innovative and collaborative candidates who want to impact the world in a positive way. To learn more visit: www.waabi.ai
The Lead Technical Program Manager - Platform Integration owns program-level execution across Waabiâs platform programs, with a focus on cross-functional integration between hardware development, onboard software, embedded systems, autonomy, safety, and operations. You are the connective tissue between teams that operate on fundamentally different cadences: embedded software with kanban-based delivery, autonomy research with probabilistic timelines, and safety validation with methodical gate-based requirements. You will surface where those cadences collide, identify gaps in requirements and execution, map the critical path accurately, and ensure risks are visible and owned so we maintain velocity and deliver on time.
You Will..
- Define and maintain integrated platform program plans covering key milestones, cross-team dependencies, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Ensure all stakeholder inputs are captured and integrated into program plans before design commitments lock in.
- Build and enforce dependency maps across Hardware, Software, Systems and Safety, and Ops, identify the critical path, and ensure every dependency has an owner and an ETA.
- Own reporting into executive forums. Surface risks early with data-backed Path to Green options, not just status updates.
- Track system VnV and overall test campaigns, ensuring test coverage, sign-off readiness, and milestone alignment across teams.
- Build cross-functional roadmaps that give hardware, software, and autonomy a shared line of sight on interdependencies and sequencing.
- Champion tools to capture the single source of truth for program work, ensuring consistency across programs.
- Build scalable tracking mechanisms and systematic processes that work at fleet scale.
Technical breadth. Ask the right questions, spot unrealistic assumptions in a plan, and know when a dependency is a real blocker versus a process gap. You can engage with engineers across hardware, embedded software, autonomy, and safety without needing to be a domain expert in any one area.
Self-starter who builds processes from scratch. Build processes and iterate based on what actually works and impose structure without creating overhead.
Cross-functional influencer. Work on highly cross functional programs spanning embedded software, onboard software, hardware, autonomy, safety, and operations.
Risk-first mindset. Surface problems early, escalate without hesitation, and always arrive with options. You can dive deep and bring clarity to status updates and a Path to Green.
Comfort with ambiguity. Thrive in bringing clarity and structure to ambiguity and convert ambitious goals into programs with hard success criteria, DRIs, and trackable milestones.
- 6+ years of technical program management experience, with a strong focus on cross-functional hardware, software and systems integration programs.
- Demonstrated experience working across teams with meaningfully different development cadences (e.g., robotics, autonomous vehicles, industrial automation, IoT, or defense systems).
- Proven ability to build cross-functional program structure from scratch: dependency maps, risk registries, executive reporting, and milestone tracking.
- Strong written and verbal communication. You can write a crisp one-pager for an executive audience and facilitate a working-level dependency review with engineers in the same week.
- Experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
- Hands-on experience with program tracking tools like Jira, Asana and Microsoft Project.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve program visibility, reduce manual overhead, or accelerate decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with embedded systems and software development and the constraints that come with it.
- Familiarity with ML development workflows and an understanding of how model iteration cadences interact with hardware and software delivery timelines. Experience working alongside ML or AI research teams in a program capacity is a plus.
- Experience establishing or scaling a triage process for field issues across engineering teams.
- Background in systems engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
The US yearly salary range for this role is: $171,000 - $243,000 USD in addition to competitive perks & benefits. Waabi (US) Inc.âs yearly salary ranges are determined based on several factors in accordance with the Companyâs compensation practices. The salary base range is reflective of the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Note: The Company provides additional compensation for employees in this role, including equity incentive awards and an annual performance bonus.
Perks/Benefits:
- Competitive compensation and equity awards.
- Health and Wellness benefits encompassing Medical, Dental and Vision coverage (for full-time employees only).
- Unlimited Vacation.
- Flexible hours and Work from Home support.
- Daily drinks, snacks and catered meals (when in office).
- Regularly scheduled team building activities and social events both on-site, off-site & virtually.
- As we grow, this list continues to evolve!
