Senior copywriter develops breakthrough integrated marketing campaigns and messaging across consumer touchpoints for national/global brands.
Why Youâll Never Want to Leave
Respect People. Produce Results.
For more than 35 years, weâve built a reputation for both the work we do and how we do it.
Respect shows up in how we work together and with our clients. It means trusting people to do their jobs, giving them the space to do it well, and holding each other to a high standard. Because when people are respected, they do better work, work that grows businesses, shapes culture, and builds relationships that last. And just as important, they have the support to build a career and a life worth investing in.
Who Youâll Be Collaborating With
Every day, youâll be teaming up with a diverse, enthusiastic, multi-disciplinary team of professionals with a smart sense of humor and a strong desire to grow and develop.
Job Summary
Weâre seeking a talented Senior Copywriter to join our creative team in Santa Monica. This role is ideal for a strategic, concept-driven writer who thrives on developing breakthrough ideas and bringing them to life across every consumer touchpoint. Youâll collaborate closely with art directors, strategists, account teams, and clients to create compelling integrated campaigns that drive business results.
Qualifications
Location
Based in the Los Angeles area.
Hybrid schedule:Â 3 days work in office - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
What Weâre Looking For
Weâre looking for a creative storyteller who combines strategic thinking with exceptional writing craft. The ideal candidate is collaborative, curious, confident in presenting ideas, and passionate about creating integrated campaigns that connect with audiences and deliver results.
Senior copywriter crafts UX copy, marketing messaging, and web content for an AI product launch, working across product ecosystem and brand narrative.
A tech client
Start Date: 8/6/2026
Length: 3 months
Hourly Rate: $92
Location: Remote- Must live in the US and be open to working PST hours
Hours: 40 hours (PST)
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a rare chance to put your words at the center of one of the most talked-about product launches in tech. As a Senior Copywriter embedded with a big tech AI team, youâll craft the language that defines how people understand, discover, and fall in love with this companyâs app, web experiences, and big tech products more broadly.
Youâll be writing across a fast-moving product ecosystem â UX copy, campaign messaging, web content, onboarding flows, and marketing â at a moment when AI is reshaping how people interact with technology. This isnât a support role. Youâll be a creative voice in the room, shaping product narrative and brand language in real time, alongside some of the most talented designers, strategists, and PMs in the industry.
If youâre a writer who thinks in systems, moves quickly without sacrificing craft, and is genuinely excited by the challenge of making complex AI technology feel intuitive and human, this is the role for you.
WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENT
This is not a traditional campaign copywriting role. Youâll be writing in a space where the product and the marketing are deeply intertwined; where a single word choice in an onboarding flow can define how millions of users understand what the clientâs AI tool is capable of. Youâll need to be comfortable moving fluidly between UX copy, long-form web content, and punchy marketing headlines, sometimes all in the same week.
The work here moves at the speed of product. Priorities shift, launches get moved up, and the creative bar stays high regardless. Weâre looking for someone who is energized by that pace, not worn down by it.

Edits and refines written content focused on energy and sustainability topics for Deloitte's global insight publications.
Senior copywriter specializing in AI and emerging technologies who translates complex AI/ML capabilities into compelling thought leadership, explainers, and product copy for enterprise insurance buyers.
Assured is on a mission to modernize insurance. Claims processing (i.e. should we pay this claim?), while often overlooked, is the foundation of the entire industry. Itâs currently highly manual, involving phone calls, faxes, and gut instinct, costing tens of billions of dollars a year. We can do better.
At Assured, we provide large insurers with the software solutions they need to win in a modern, technology-driven world. From self-service claim-filing software to backend fraud detection, weâre the engine that powers claims processing for some of the largest insurers in the world.
The challenges we face are deep and diverse, from creating digital experiences that provide comfort and clarity to claimants at their most stressed and vulnerable to orchestrating large-scale ML-driven decision-making on billions of dollars of claims payments, life at Assured is dynamic, collaborative, and rewarding.
We are looking for a Senior Copywriter, AI & Category Narrative â a writer who is genuinely expert in AI and can make agentic AI, frontier models, and LLM-powered systems legible, credible, and compelling to the people who run claims at the largest US carriers. Assured sells to the top P&C carriers that own roughly 98% of the nationâs claims volume. The capability and the proof are real; the writing that carries it to the market is the multiplier. You are the hands-on maker of that writing.
This is a craft-and-substance role that complements our Content Strategist: the strategist sets the plan and the calendar; you go deep on the subject matter and write the words. You will turn complex technical capability â how agents reason, what âagenticâ actually means in a claims workflow, where frontier models help and where they donât â into thought leadership, explainers, web and product copy, social, and the ghostwritten point of view that builds our category. You write for a skeptical, senior, regulated audience, and you earn their trust because you understand what youâre writing about.
You will partner with the Content Strategist, the CEO/founder, and the rest of the Marketing organization, and operate inside carrier compliance norms on everything that leaves the building. If you want to write at the frontier of AI for a category that is being defined in real time â not summarize it from the outside â this is your seat.
What Youâll DoâŚ
đ§ Be the expert writer on AIâ Write authoritatively about frontier AI, models, and LLM-powered systems for enterprise â copy that holds up with technical readers (i.e. CIOs and CAIOs) and lands with claims executives who are not.
đ° Carry the category narrative â Translate Assuredâs âfrontier AI for claimsâ point of view into thought leadership, bylines, explainers, and long-form pieces that the market, press, and analysts come to recognize as ours.
đ Write across every surface â Produce web and landing copy, product and feature narratives, social posts, newsletters, and sales-supporting content â in one consistent, credible voice.
đď¸ Ghostwrite the point of view â Partner on the CEO and founder voice â drafting POV, op-eds, posts, and talk tracks that make Justin a leading voice in insurance AI.
đ Make the complex clear â Sit with the product, and PMM teams, understand the capability deeply, and turn it into language that is precise, vivid, and free of hype.
đ¤ Complement the Content Strategist â Take the strategy and calendar and make it real on the page â owning drafts end to end, from brief to publish-ready copy.
đ Own the blog â Write and ship a steady stream of blog posts and articles that turn our AI point of view into search-visible, shareable content and build Assuredâs organic authority in the category.
đŻ Raise the bar on quality â Set and hold a high editorial standard for accuracy, voice, and clarity across everything the team ships.
âď¸ Keep it compliant â Write inside carrier anti-bribery and compliance norms, and check claims and substantiation before anything goes out.
What You BringâŚ
đ 5â8+ years as a copywriter or content writer (senior IC to lead level), with a portfolio of published work you wrote yourself.
đ¤ Genuine subject-matter command of AI â agentic AI, frontier models, and LLMs for enterprise â demonstrated through writing that technical readers respect.
đ˘ A track record of writing for B2B, enterprise, or technical audiences and making complex capability clear and persuasive.
đ¨ Exceptional writing range: thought leadership and long-form, plus crisp web, product, and social copy in a single coherent voice.
đŹ Comfort going deep with product and engineering to learn a hard subject, and the judgment to write about it without hype.
âď¸ An individual maker who wants to write â not manage a team or run an agency;
đ´ Based on the U.S. West Coast.
đŚ Insurance, fintech, or another regulated/enterprise domain a plus; if not, genuine enthusiasm to learn the claims world fast.
đ Experience writing inside an early-stage or high-growth startup at a stage similar to Assuredâs â comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and building from scratch.
đ High ownership and low ego â you do the thinking and the writing, and you sweat every word.
Benefits:
đ¤ Competitive Compensation: Competitive salary and equity packages for all employees
đĽ Healthcare Plan: Platinum medical, dental, and vision
đĄď¸ Free life insurance: Including long-term disability & short-term disability
đ Unlimited PTO: Uncapped vacation days & paid holidays
đś Family Leave: Maternity & paternity
đ 401(k) Contribution: Assured contributes 3% of your income, even if you donât contribute
đ WFH Benefits: Lunch on us 2x/week, monthly phone stipend & other home office perks
đŞ Health FSAs & HSAs: Pre-tax accounts for out-of-pocket medical expenses
đ¤ Team events & Offsites: Weâre remote, but we regularly get together
