With a few flowers in my garden, half a dozen pictures and some books, I live without envy.  -  Lope de Vega

Chairman Ilona Neuman

When the Punta Gorda Public Library, was remodeled in 1998, a large hedge in a cement planter was removed from the front of the library. The planter was in need of landscaping to soften and enhance the wall behind the planter. The garden was donated by the Punta Gorda Garden Club with proceeds from the Holly Days Home Tour.
Members rotate each month taking care of watering, weeding, fertilizing, pruning and controlling pests as well as other cultural problems.
